Explore the world of jewelry hammers - cross-pein, forging, embossing, goldsmith, plainishing, forming, etc. while learning some basic forging skills. We'll texture wire, thicker ring stock and sheet, experimenting to create different textures. You'll learn the correct use of each hammer while creating real projects (great for gifts) along the way - silver band rings for beginners, forged silver chains for more advanced students. All levels welcome; it'll be a great holiday making experience. Please note that classes are designed around demos followed by hands-on learning.

Depending on the student’s skill level, final fabrication and finishing may be needed after the class to complete the project. We offer ongoing independent study opportunities for this purpose.

Your safety is of utmost importance to us: everyone is required to wear closed toed shoes while in the Lab, loose hair must be pulled back and safety glasses and earmuffs are available and required.

Sorry - that class has already taken place!
