Stamp patterning is the easiest, most direct method for creating your own unique mokume gane patterns. Each student in this one-day class will create their own unique stamp-textured mokume gane sheet, then use the sheet to create finished jewelry according to their experience level. Beginners will make simple earrings, while more experienced students can make a soldered pendant or begin a more complex piece. Copper/brass mokume is included in class fee, silver/copper and/or silver/copper/brass mokume will be available for purchase in class. Repeat students are welcome - guided repetition and practice are key to perfecting patterning skills. All levels.
Class goes from 9am to 4pm with a lunch break from noon-1pm.
Our main instructor at Anneville, Anne Wolf has been teaching general jewelry/metals classes since 2003, and mokume gane workshops since 2008.
